Welcome to our first Provider of the Month blog post for the new year. We’re incredibly excited to continue this series to allow the dermatology professionals here at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta to share a more personal side and allow our patients to get to know them and their personal expertise a bit better. This month we are shining the spotlight on Cindi Mendez, one of the incredibly talented aestheticians at our Skin Medics™ Medical Spa.
Background & Training
Cindi Mendez is a licensed esthetician who has been a member of the team at Skin Medics™ Medical Spa for over 15 years. Before coming to our practice, Cindi studied at the Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, where she was trained in a variety of cosmetic specialties. She has advanced training in facial rejuvenation treatments and is an expert in helping patients fight off common signs of aging and achieve a more glowing, youthful appearance.
Cindi Mendez’s Skin Care Specialties
Cindi is skilled and experienced in performing a wide variety of in-demand cosmetic treatments for the face. This includes chemical peels, microdermabrasion, eyebrow contouring, and more. However, Réjuvapen® microneedling is her personal favorite procedure to perform due to its ability to address multiple imperfections at once including acne scarring, sun damage, texture issues, wrinkles, and more. As an expert in skincare, Cindi thinks that people should prioritize skin care products that include hyaluronic acid, retinol, and vitamin C to preserve and maintain healthy facial skin as we age. She is also a strong believer in protecting the skin by wearing sunscreen year-round.
Outside of Dermatology Associates of Atlanta
When she’s not helping her patients improve their appearance and self-esteem, Cindi enjoys filling her time with her son, as well as several hobbies including painting, reading, and shopping.

The most simplistic answer is wrinkles are lines that appear on the skin. However, the medical explanation is a bit more detailed. Wrinkles are lines and creases that occur in the middle layer of your skin, also known as the dermis. The dermis layer is responsible for producing collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid. These three components are mainly responsible for retaining our youthful appearance. As the body’s natural aging process occurs, the production of these components decreases, causing our skin to lose its elasticity and plumpness. This is what causes wrinkles to begin appearing. Further compounding this natural aging process are other factors such as genetics, sun exposure, and everyday facial expressions which accelerate the development of wrinkles.
Botox®, Dysport®, and our newest injectable treatment Daxxify™ are neurotoxins that relax the muscles responsible for crow’s feet, frown lines, and memory lines, leaving you with a rested and youthful appearance.
Restylane® and Juvéderm® are fillers that contain hyaluronic acid and are used to restore plumpness to your skin and smooth the appearance of wrinkles.
Sculptra® contains poly-L-lactic acid, which works with your body to stimulate new collagen production and restore lost facial volume.
Radiesse® is a filler that contains calcium hydroxylapatite, which restores volume loss, and stimulates new collagen production.
Fraxel® Laser Treatment uses laser light to create microscopic wounds on the face triggering the body’s healing process. The healing process will encourage the production of new collagen and healthy skin cells.
Cartessa™ Tetra utilizes CoolPeel® advanced technology to deliver a fully-ablative treatment that encourages the production of new collagen, with less downtime than other CO2 laser treatments.
While most people don’t think about cosmetic treatments on a daily basis, some treatments are so popular that they have become household names. Botox® fits that bill, as one of the most recognizable treatments for wrinkle reduction, and the similar product Dysport® is highly popular as well. Statistics vary between organizations like the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and The Aesthetic Society, but they all agree that there are millions of Botox® and Dysport® injections performed every year in the US.
If you haven’t given these wrinkle reduction injections a try, you might wonder what makes them so popular. Why do so many people treat themselves to these procedures on an ongoing basis? At Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, we proudly help patients every day to get the result they want from their injections, and there are a few particular reasons why Botox® and Dysport® are so appealing. Together, our providers have extensive facial injection experience, performing an average of 9,000 injections each year in Atlanta.
Effective Wrinkle Reduction
Both Botox® and Dysport® injections are long-standing procedures with a history of exceptional results. In fact, as of 2022, Botox® has been FDA-approved for wrinkle reduction for 20 years, and Dysport® for 13 years. At Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, we have been treating our patients with these injections since this FDA approval. All those years of use on top of clinical testing show that if they are administered by skilled and experienced medical professionals, these treatments produce reliably strong results for crow’s feet, frown lines between the eyebrows, and forehead lines.
Minimal Treatment and Recovery Time
There are many ways to reduce wrinkles, but every patient wants a balance between the results they’ll receive and the amount of time, discomfort, and effort it will take to get those results. One reason Botox® and Dysport® are so popular is that they produce great results remarkably easily. The treatment is quick, only taking a matter of minutes and a few quick injections. There is no need to take time off work to recover because most patients only have mild soreness and bruising for a few days at their injection site.
For most people who want to reduce wrinkles, the ideal result is to look younger without obvious signs that they “had work done” – they want to look like they are simply keeping a youthful look. That is what Botox® and Dysport® results typically offer. When administered by an experienced and skilled medical professional like the providers at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, these treatments give your skin a naturally smooth appearance.
Confidence Boost for Months
Wrinkles can wear away at a person’s self-esteem quickly. Not only may you dislike the way they look, but they can make you feel that your age is wearing on you and that you aren’t as strong or energized as you used to be. Botox® and Dysport® injections give you the gift of improved confidence with results that last for months so you can stop worrying about your wrinkles on a daily basis.
All of these reasons above are excellent motivations for getting Botox® or Dysport® injections. If you would like to see for yourself why so many people love this cosmetic treatment, schedule a consultation at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta. Wrinkle treatments are so common today that many of them have become household names. Most people have heard of Botox®, injectable fillers, and chemical peels for example. But the field of cosmetic medicine is constantly improving, and that includes introducing highly effective treatments that you may not be familiar with yet. One of those treatments is AQUAGOLD® fine touch™.
This unique procedure is a powerful and customizable tool that allows board-certified dermatologists and physician assistants like our experts at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta to give you fantastic cosmetic results. To make sure you understand all your cosmetic options, we’re giving you an inside peek into this effective procedure.
What Is AQUAGOLD® fine touch™?
AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ is a relatively new type of treatment tool called a microchannel microinjector. It uses ultrafine needles, thinner than a human hair, to inject small doses of cosmetic solutions into your skin. The solution itself is customized for each treatment based on the results you want to achieve and the area your provider is treating.
What Cosmetic Issues Can AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ Treat?
AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ is a particularly versatile treatment that can treat very different cosmetic concerns. It is a popular procedure to address signs of aging like fine lines and wrinkles, and the treatment can reduce enlarged pores as well. However, our skilled providers also use AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ on the scalp to treat hair loss.
What Makes AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ Unique?
One of the most unique aspects of AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ is its customizability. By treating precise areas and choosing the ideal solution to inject, our experienced providers can treat your specific concerns. Namely, we perform these treatments with Botox® or Dysport®, facial fillers like Juvederm® or Restylane®, or your own natural growth factors that we can extract from a sample of your blood.
For example, if you want to reduce fine lines and wrinkles for a more youthful look, we can use facial fillers throughout your face to create a more youthful fullness and fill in fine lines. Or, if you want to minimize hair loss and stimulate hair growth, we can use your natural growth factors and administer them to your scalp using AQUAGOLD® fine touch™.
Another advantage to this procedure is how easy it is for patients to receive. It brings little or no recovery time, and the ultrafine needles are gold-coated so they are hypoallergenic. You receive effective cosmetic results with minimal skin irritation.
Am I a Candidate for AQUAGOLD® fine touch™?
As with any cosmetic treatment, there are several factors that will determine whether you are a candidate for AQUAGOLD® fine touch™. The best way to find out is to schedule a consultation at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta. Our providers will discuss your cosmetic goals, determine if AQUAGOLD® fine touch™ is the right fit for you, and identify the best way to tailor the treatment to your needs.
To get started, schedule your consultation appointment today. In the meantime, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for our latest skin care tips, special offers, upcoming events, and more.
The beauty of living in our high-tech era is that there are many options available for cosmetic goals like rejuvenating your appearance. If you have time and patience on your side, you could have over a dozen possibilities that can work with your body’s natural healing processes to create long-lasting results.
Sometimes, though, you’re on a deadline. If you have a special event on the horizon and you need to look your best before the big day, some anti-aging treatments are more suitable than others. We’ll feature other age-defying treatments in future blogs but for a fast fix, take a look at these top options from our team at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta.
Botox® and Dysport® Injections
For expression lines like crow’s feet, forehead creases, and frown lines between your eyebrows, Botox® and Dysport® are effective and precise ways to get quick results. Our skilled providers can specifically target the wrinkles you are concerned about within a brief treatment. Your results will start to appear after about seven days and they can continue to improve for up to two weeks.
Injectable Facial Fillers
Facial fillers or dermal fillers like Juvéderm® and Resytlane® are efficient tools to combat common signs of aging. After we inject the fillers to fill in your key wrinkles or give your targeted areas a youthful plumpness, you will begin to see your results immediately.
Chemical peels are highly effective for facial rejuvenation because they can often address fine lines and mild wrinkles as well as age spots. It’s important to note, though, that peels vary significantly in their depth and potency, so the timeline for your results varies as well. You may see your optimal results from a light peel within a week, while deeper peels could take several weeks.
LaseMD™ Skin Rejuvenation
Unlike many laser treatments for facial aging, LaseMD™ skin rejuvenation is a non-ablative laser. This means that it doesn’t break the skin, so the healing process is much shorter. After your procedure, you may see mild flaking as your skin sheds its damaged outer layers to reveal youthful skin with fewer fine lines and age spots. Your results can begin to appear within one to six days after the treatment. Keep in mind that in some cases, it takes two or three treatments to enjoy the best possible results.
DOT™ Laser Therapy
DOT™ Laser Therapy is a laser treatment known as fractionated laser skin resurfacing. The procedure treats your skin with a pattern of “dots” from the laser which stimulates your body’s natural healing process. DOT™ Laser Therapy is effective for age spots and hyperpigmentation as well as lines and wrinkles.
It can take two weeks or more to recover from your DOT™ Laser Therapy procedure in order to see your full results. Keep in mind that there are other laser treatments for facial rejuvenation too, like Fraxel®, and our providers will be able to recommend the best option for you based on your needs and your available recovery time.
PicoSure® Facial Rejuvenation
While the PicoSure® laser was originally best known for its success in laser tattoo removal, it has now become a popular tool for facial rejuvenation when paired with its new FOCUS™ Lens Array. This advanced procedure addresses multiple signs of aging, including fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, as well as freckles and other types of sun damage. While it can take several treatments to achieve your best results, this unique laser procedure carries minimal downtime.
Fractora™ Facial Rejuvenation
Fractora™ is a procedure that improves a variety of signs of aging through a combination of microneedling and radiofrequency energy. The microneedles deliver targeted warmth to various layers of your skin using radiofrequency energy. This stimulates your natural healing process to restore skin-firming collagen. Results begin to appear within two weeks after your treatment, though they can continue to improve for several weeks.

Because of the natural aging process, wrinkles will develop at one point or another. While wrinkles are inevitable, there are ways to slow down their progression. Certain lifestyle changes can improve the appearance of wrinkles such as wearing sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher, quitting smoking and reducing prolonged sun exposure. However, if you are looking to take a more proactive route to reducing your wrinkles, Dermatology Associates of Atlanta offers a wide range of cosmetic injectables to help give your skin a youthful look.
Botox® Cosmetic by Allergan
This neuromodulator injectable helps to relax the facial muscles that create wrinkles around the eyes and forehead. As we age, the skin loses elasticity which makes it harder for the skin to bounce back when we make facial expressions. Botox® temporarily soothes select facial muscles to help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines on the upper third of the face.
Dysport® Cosmetic by Galderma
Similar to Botox®, Dysport® uses botulinum-A to treat wrinkles and fine lines around the forehead and eyes. This treatment temporarily relaxes facial muscles to help smooth expression lines. Dysport® takes less than five minutes to administer and carries no downtime.
Jeuveau® Cosmetic by Evolus
This injectable treatment uses Hi-Pure™ Technology to temporarily smooth out and relax the appearance of wrinkles between your eyebrows, also known as frown lines. Jeuveau® is performed in-office and only takes a few minutes to complete.
Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Restylane® by Galderma
Restylane® is a facial filler that works to smooth facial wrinkles and fine lines. This line of FDA-approved fillers also helps to restore lost volume to areas such as the lips, mouth, nose and cheeks. Depending on what area of the face is being treated, this injectable can last between six to 12 months.
The full line of Restylane® injectables includes:
Restylane®-L: Traditional Restylane with Lidocaine, useful for fine lines
Restylane® Lyft: Helpful for areas that require more plumping
Restylane® Refyne™: Helpful for thin skin areas such as eyelids and fine lines
Restylane® Defyne™: Fills without significant enlargement and elastic, useful around mouth
Restylane® Silk: Helpful for thin skin areas that require plumping
Juvéderm® by Allergan
For those with moderate to severe wrinkles and fine lines, Juvéderm® is a cosmetic facial filler that is formulated to smooth and correct more stubborn areas of the face. This treatment sets itself apart from other fillers because it’s made with Hylacross™ technology, a smoother and less granular formula. It lasts up to a year and can improve facial lines and volume around the eyes, lips, cheeks and nose.
The full line of Juvéderm® facial fillers includes:
Juvéderm® Ultra: Traditional Juvederm with Lidocaine, useful for fine lines
Juvéderm® Ultra Plus: Slightly thicker version of Juvéderm®
Juvéderm Voluma®: Longer lasting version with more plumping
Juvéderm Vollure™: Longer lasting version with less plumping
Juvéderm Volbella®: Product to treat thin skin areas and fine lines
Non-Hyaluronic Acid Fillers
Radiesse® by Merz
As we age, we lose collagen which contributes to lost facial volume and elasticity. This treatment is made up of calcium hydroxyapatite and can help improve the appearance of your wrinkles while also refreshing your look at the same time.
Sculptra® by Dermik
Made up of poly-L-lactic acid, this facial filler is designed to restore lost volume and improve the appearance of deeper wrinkles and fine lines by stimulating the body’s natural production of collagen. This treatment does require multiple injections, but the results can last up to two years.
If you’re looking for a non-surgical solution to help treat your fine lines and wrinkles, look no further than cosmetic injectables. To schedule a consultation, contact Dermatology Associates of Atlanta today. Believe it or not, getting your beauty sleep is a real thing. When you rest, it allows your body to recharge, heal and repair itself. During sleep, blood flow is increased, collagen is rebuilt, UV damage is repaired and wrinkles and age spots are reduced. When you skimp on sleep, you end up doing your body a disservice and causing more harm than good. Sleep deprivation has both short- and long-term effects on your appearance and health.
At Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, we have seen our fair share of clinical problems caused by lack of sleep. We want to help make you aware of what can happen to your skin if you continue to toss and turn at night and offer a few solutions.
After just one poor night of sleep, the effects already begin to show physically in the form of hanging eyelids, swollen eyes, paler skin, dark undereye circles and wrinkles and fine lines. A few nights in a row of poor sleep can not only make the skin worse and harm your body, but it can also have negative emotional effects as well. This can lead to you feeling more stressed which can lead to even more physical concerns.
Lack of rest can also deprive your skin of moisture and cause the pH levels of your complexion to decrease which can result in your skin appearing less youthful and more dull. When your pH levels drop, the skin struggles to produce the moisture it needs to keep your skin hydrated and refreshed. This can lead to dry skin, redness, unevenness, acne breakouts, and inflammation. Using certain skincare products and vitamins for this issue may help to curb these effects and improve your pH levels. You should always speak to your provider before you try these methods. However, it’s important to keep in mind that this is not a replacement for adjusting your sleep schedule.
While we have emphasized the importance of getting enough sleep, there are other steps that you can take before bed to help you maximize your long-term skin health. In addition to sleeping enough, we recommend washing your face before bed, using a moisturizer before you sleep, keeping water on your bedside table, using a skin-friendly pillowcase, and keeping the room dark while you snooze. Some people may find listening to ambient noise, meditating, or reading before bed helpful.
Beauty sleep is essential. If you find yourself struggling to get enough sleep every night, you may have already started to notice negative changes in your appearance. To learn more about the correlation between sleep deprivation and unhealthy skin, book an appointment with Dermatology Associates of Atlanta today. Additionally, follow us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for more information about our skin care and dermatology services.
Dermatology Associates of Atlanta uses Ultherapy® Skin Tightening to precisely diagnose and treat a variety of cosmetic needs. This procedure is one our most personalized approaches to skincare and has become a favorite among patients. We’ve decided to dive into the reasons why so many people are switching to Ultherapy® from surgical methods of revitalizing skin.
What Does Ultherapy® Skin Tightening Do?
Ultherapy® Skin Tightening stimulates collagen production to help lift and tighten unwanted, loose skin. People who receive this treatment can achieve great natural-looking cosmetic results with no downtime. It’s the only non-invasive and FDA approved method that can lift skin located on the neck, below the chin, décolletage, and on eyebrows. After 2-3 months, the new collagen will smooth the treatment sites and produce refreshed results.
How it Works
The first step of the Ultherapy® Facial Skin Tightening process is an ultrasound scan of the patient’s skin. It might seem unusual, but this technique provides a detailed map of the deeper layers of tissue that determine the specific depth and precise areas where treatment is needed. Afterward, low levels of ultrasound energy are safely applied to the treatment area, which heat tissue beneath the skin. This energy tones and tightens skin as collagen is produced. Collagen is a protein that allows skin to maintain a healthy and beautiful form. As people age, their collagen production decreases and causes skin to take on a loose and wrinkled look. The Ultherapy® treatment reverses this process and restores your great, natural-looking appearance.
One of the best aspects of the Ultherapy® Facial Skin Tightening procedure is that there’s no downtime. Patients can attain fantastic cosmetic results without the need to take time off to recover. Some people experience a slight redness or tingling feeling during the first initial hours after the treatment, but it quickly fades.
Dermatology Associates of Atlanta utilizes the benefits of the Ultherapy® Facial Skin Tightening to recover and improve skin quality. Thanks to this procedure, we have helped many patients take years off of their appearance and restore confidence in how they look. To ask questions about Ultherapy® or to schedule an appointment, call (404) 256-4457. Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter for more information about our clinical and cosmetic dermatology treatments!
As we tell patients every day at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, each person has their own unique list of cosmetic concerns and their own treatment regimen that fits their needs. Still, there are definite trends that appear in the skin care world, and it’s interesting to see the pattern of how various treatments rise and fall. One particularly reliable source for this information is the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, who conducts a nationwide survey each year to find out the most popular cosmetic treatments throughout the country, then releases those statistics publicly. Based on their data, these were the most popular non-surgical cosmetic treatments in 2017:
#1: Botox® or Dysport® Injections
Botox® and Dysport® are essentially two different companies’ versions of the same product. They are both injected into precise facial muscles to relax and smooth these muscles. This reduces fine lines like “crow’s feet,” frown lines, and forehead creases caused from repeated expressions and constant movement.
#2: Hyaluronic Acid Fillers (including Restylane® and Juvéderm®)
While some wrinkles can be treated by relaxing the underlying muscles, other wrinkles (like those around the mouth and nose) are best treated with facial fillers. Hyaluronic acid is the most common material used for these fillers, and when injected into an area, the liquid filler “fills in” the wrinkles and creates a more youthful look. Some hyaluronic acid facial fillers can also be used to restore youthful volume under the eyes, in the tear troughs, and in the cheeks.
#3: Non-Surgical Fat Reduction
As a non-surgical alternative to liposuction (not an alternative to weight loss), non-surgical fat reduction reduces fat in targeted, specific areas to give the body a slimmer, more defined contour. At Dermatology Associates of Atlanta, we offer a variety of fat reduction choices, including CoolSculpting®, UltraShape®, BodyFX™, and our newest technology EMSculpt®.
#4: Hair Removal
While shaving, waxing, sugaring, and plucking can remove unwanted hair, the temporary results make for a time-consuming (and sometimes expensive) upkeep regimen. That’s why long-term hair removal with laser treatments or electrolysis is so high up on the list of popular procedures.
#5: Chemical Peels
A chemical peel is a versatile treatment that reduces fine lines, wrinkles, acne scars, uneven pigmentation, and more. The procedure uses a customized solution that penetrates the skin and helps your body exfoliate away damaged surface skin, revealing brighter, younger skin beneath.
#6: Photo Rejuvenation, or IPL
Intense pulsed light, or IPL, is also known as photo rejuvenation because it uses non-ablative light to break up age spots or other unwanted pigmentation while also stimulated collagen to tighten the skin.
While traditional dermabrasion is rare, microdermabrasion (and similar treatments like the SilkPeel® we offer at our on-site Skin Medics™ Medical Spa) is still going strong. This minimally invasive treatment “buffs” away dead skin cells and damaged surface skin to reduce acne, scarring, age spots, fine lines, and uneven skin texture.
#8: Non-Surgical Skin Tightening
Cosmetic surgery might be the best option for people with severe sagging skin, but for patients who just want to lift and tighten, non-surgical skin tightening can do this with little or no recovery time using treatments like Ultherapy®, Infini™, and Fractora™.
#9: Fractionated Laser Skin Resurfacing
As with dermabrasion, traditional laser skin resurfacing has primarily been replaced by a less invasive yet still highly successful alternative, fractionated laser resurfacing. This treatment uses small laser columns to create tiny treatment zones that spread their rejuvenating effects over the entire area.
#10: Sculptra® Injections
On the surface, Sculptra® looks similar to the hyaluronic acid fillers we mentioned earlier, but it is slightly different. Instead of just using a synthetic filler to create volume, Sculptra® uses a special formula to stimulate collagen production in the area, letting the body produce more lasting volume.
The treatments above are all options that have given thousands of patients great results, so they’re all worth considering. To find out the best way to treat your specific cosmetic needs, schedule an appointment with Dermatology Associates of Atlanta or check out our events page for our monthly Cosmetic Day and other savings opportunities. Facial fillers like Restylane® and Juvéderm® have now become household names. Nearly everyone knows they can fill in facial wrinkles with a few quick injections, and our board-certified dermatologists and physician assistants at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta perform these treatments dozens of times every day. But as with any medical treatment, doctors have found many other beneficial ways to use facial fillers as well – and some of them may surprise you.
Acne scars come in many forms, and while chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and laser treatments can work wonders for mild scarring, severe scars need a little something extra. Depressed (or atrophic) scars happen when your body produces too little scar tissue to replace the damaged skin. For deep acne scars, our dermatologists achieve powerful results with minimally invasive surgical techniques to release the scar tissue that’s pulling the surface skin down, then using facial fillers to fill in the space underneath.
As we age, we lose fat and other tissue in our face, and the skin becomes thinner as well. This makes us look bonier and more gaunt. It’s rather well-known that dermal fillers can be used to fill in the hollows of the cheeks to produce a more youthful shape. But fewer people realize that this can be done with hollowing temples as well, adding even further to a natural-looking youthfulness.
Corners of the Lips
For some people, the corners of their lips naturally point downward while their face is resting, and this can get worse (or start to appear in people who didn’t have the problem before) with aging. In addition to facial fillers being used to plump up thin lips, they can also be placed strategically so that they turn up the corners of the mouth ever so slightly. This subtle change can produce a naturally more pleasant-looking, youthful, and refreshed look.
The hands are arguably the most forgotten area of the body when it comes to aging. Between sun exposure, movement, and the fact that they have thin skin to begin with, the hands age very quickly. As tissue is lost, the tendons, veins, and bones become more visible. But some facial fillers like Radiesse® can be very successful at turning back the clock when injected into the tops of the hands. Just be sure to have these injections performed by a qualified medical professional like a board-certified dermatologist or physician assistant, because the risk of complications is high when this procedure is performed by someone who is unqualified and inexperienced.
For patients who want a more well-proportioned face, their chin can make all the difference. Even a slight augmentation to the front of the chin can produce a stronger, slimmer-looking jawline. For patients who want a subtle enhancement to their chin but don’t need or want plastic surgery, facial fillers can sometimes be used instead. Fillers are also temporary, so they’re a great way for a patient to try the look and see if it does what they envisioned it would do.
It can be truly fascinating to learn about the latest medical treatments and the innovative ways they’re being used. But remember, even quick procedures like filler injections have an impact on your health, so keep your safety in mind above all. Only receive facial filler injections from a board-certified medical professional who has extensive experience performing injections in the area you’re interested in and a sterile, safe medical environment. For an in-depth consultation about how dermal fillers may be able to help you, schedule an appointment at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta.
