As a dermatology office, our focus is on combining the advantages of a large practice with those of a specialized provider. This is why we’re structured as a collaborative practice between our five board-certified dermatologists, three physician assistants, and numerous aestheticians, electrologists, laser technicians, and other practitioners. While patients can receive nearly any service they can think of for their skin, hair, and nails under one roof in any of our nine specialty centers, each provider has their own areas of expertise, so patients also enjoy the advantage of having specialized care. Every year, Best Self magazine holds an Atlanta-area contest known as their “Best of 2016” competition. Members of the metro Atlanta community can nominate health and wellness-related businesses, practices, and professionals for over 120 different categories, from “Best Allergist” to “Best Cycling Shop.” After the nominees are collected, the polls are made open to the public to cast their votes for a winner in each category. This year, all of us at DAA are honored to receive the award for Best Dermatology Practice.

The most rewarding part of this honor is knowing that we were nominated and selected by the very people we prioritize the most—the patients we’ve been serving for nearly 40 years.
