At Dermatology Associates of Atlanta (DAA), one of the goals we’ve strived for throughout our nearly 40 years of service is to provide every patient with the specialized care that best meets their unique needs, from dermatological conditions like psoriasis and eczema to cosmetic treatments like Botox® injections and hair removal. To this end, DAA houses nine unique specialty centers, each focused on a particular area of general or cosmetic dermatology. This allows our patients to enjoy the best of both worlds—access to a large number of services under one roof and medical professionals with a concentrated area of expertise. Here’s a brief look into each of our specialty centers:

The Dermatology Center – Our board-certified dermatologists and certified physician assistants provide comprehensive diagnosis and treatment for a wide variety of dermatologic concerns, including skin cancer, acne, dermatitis, eczema, sunburn, warts, rosacea, shingles, skin allergies, and more.

The Atlanta Center for Veins – Spider veins and varicose veins can cause both emotional and physical discomfort. At our dedicated vein center, we offer several treatment options to optimize each patient’s procedure for their unique needs, including laser vein removal, VeinWave™, and sclerotherapy, as well as FotoFacial® for facial spider veins.

The Griffin Center of Hair Restoration and Research – For nearly 40 years, our own Dr. Edmond Griffin has specialized in studying and treating hair loss with both surgical and non-surgical methods. Using the most advanced hair restoration methods and technologies, like NeoGraft™, red light therapy (including LaserCap®), natural growth factors, customized prescription compounds and shampoos, and more, Dr. Griffin and Dr. Ashley Curtis help patients of all ages to achieve a healthier, fuller scalp.

The Griffin Center for Women’s Hair Loss – As Georgia’s first facility dedicated exclusively to women’s hair loss, our newest specialty center focuses on providing comprehensive diagnosis for the many potential causes of female hair loss, as well as restoring hair with primarily non-surgical methods.

The Hair Removal Center – As one of the most popular cosmetic treatments today, especially for young adults, long-term hair removal can save patients years of painful, expensive, or time-consuming shaving and waxing. In order to customize each patient’s treatments to their needs and to serve patients of all skin types, our Hair Removal Center offers electrolysis, laser hair removal, and EpiLight.

The Laser Institute of Georgia – When it comes to cosmetic or medical lasers, it’s vital to work with an experienced and skilled practitioner, and as the state’s first laser center, our Laser Institute of Georgia is the most experienced laser center in the Southeast dedicated to skin treatments. With practitioners who have over 25 years of experience, we use the latest and most advanced technology, like PicoSure™ tattoo removal, Fraxel® facial rejuvenation, DOT™ laser therapy, Perfecta™ for rosacea and facial veins, and many more cutting-edge laser treatments to produce safe and effective results.

Skin Medics™ Medical Spa – At our on-site medical spa, our licensed and experienced aestheticians provide top-notch facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser acne treatments, and non-invasive skin firming.

The Psoriasis Center – Psoriasis is a condition which requires specialized care. Every patient is unique, and while psoriasis is chronic, our dedicated treatment center has made strides in researching and improving psoriasis treatments and continues to provide the most advanced and customized methods available to minimize the patches of inflamed and uncomfortable skin and to give patients as much symptom-free time as possible.

The Surgical Suite – When our patients require procedures like Mohs skin cancer removal surgery, or opt for cosmetic surgeries like liposuction or scar revision, our highly qualified dermatologic surgeons and our state-of-the-art surgical suite facilities can provide the ideal environment for a safe and successful surgery.
