For over 45 years, Dr. Kraus has served as a dermatologist board-certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He is actively involved in many professional societies including the American Academy of Dermatology, Society for Investigative Dermatology, American Medical Association, and American College of Emergency Physicians.

Dr. Kraus graduated magna cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1960 before attending Case-Western Reserve Medical School until 1964. He was part of the United State Public Health Service at the Center for Disease Control from 1968 until he retired from the military in 1990.

Often praised by patients for his compound prescriptions for treating a multitude of skin issues, Dr. Kraus treats conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer, and more.
