This procedure treats many different kinds of dermatological conditions, so there are a variety of factors that would make you a fitting candidate. Vbeam® Prima is a fantastic treatment option if you suffer from the following:

- Bruising after trauma or surgery
Patients can benefit from this procedure through skin rejuvenation, photoaging, improving complexion and fading blemishes. The most accurate way to determine if this is a treatment that could benefit your skin care needs is to schedule an in-person consultation with one of our experienced dermatology providers. All of your questions and concerns can be addressed so you can make the most well-informed decision possible.
How does the Vbeam® Prima procedure work?
Vbeam® Prima utilizes a specialized pulsed dye laser that can help patients maintain healthy and beautiful skin without a complicated surgery that requires extensive downtime afterward. The laser technology in this procedure is designed to target an area with pulsed laser energy, which is absorbed in the blood vessels of the skin instead of the surrounding healthy tissue. Vbeam® Prima has a larger treatment spot size that makes the process faster than other similar cosmetic laser technology. It also operates at a wavelength that can reach deeper areas of blood vessels to reduce unwanted texture or color of a specific location on the face or body. Moreover, the cooling mechanism reduces the potential for discomfort and ensures that the high-energy wavelength doesn’t damage your skin. This allows for a comfortable and relaxed experience for patients.
We’re very excited to be offering and performing cosmetic treatments with Vbeam® Prima technology at Dermatology Associates of Atlanta. The results have already proven that this procedure is an efficient and safe way to attain fantastic skin consistency.
