How AVAVA™ Laser System Treatments Work
The AVAVA™ Laser System is what is known as a multi-level laser treatment. It uses a unique focal point delivery system to precisely target specific areas of concern, while not disrupting or damaging any nearby tissue. During treatment, high powered laser energy is sent directly into the deeper levels of the dermis, initiating increased production of healthy new collagen in the treatment area. The result is a natural remodeling of scar tissue, and smoothing of the skin’s surface, to provide visible improvements in the appearance and texture of scarring, wrinkles, dark spots, and other imperfections. AVAVA™ Laser System Frequently Asked Questions
How much time will I need to recover following my AVAVA™ Laser System Treatment?
Since AVAVA™ treatments utilize an internal cooling system during treatment, they are able to help mitigate discomfort that can occur with the use of other high powered cosmetic lasers. Some redness and dryness (or even mild swelling) in the treated area can occur, but these effects are minor and should subside after 48 – 72 hours.
Who is a good candidate for AVAVA™ Laser System Treatment?
AVAVA™ laser treatments are safe and effective for people of all skin types and tones, including darker skin. We will undergo a full pre-treatment consultation to ensure that each patient is a good fit for treatment with AVAVA™ before making any recommendations.
